06/10/2025 ** FULL TIME PERMANENT EQUESTRIAN YARD PERSON **

NORTH YORKSHIRE – VACANCY AVAILABLE AT A SMALL RURAL CARE HOME FOR ADULTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES – RIPON / MASHAM AREA.

Ellershaw House is situated between Grewelthorpe and Kirkby Malzeard within 14 acres so own transport is required. We are a small residential home looking after 12 residents with Learning Disabilities and horse therapy is one of the activities we offer our residents.

We are looking for an experienced yard person on a full-time permanent basis to work alongside other staff. We have 12 horses & ponies including youngsters that need looking after with feeding, mucking out, turning out and bringing in, tack cleaning, getting horses ready for riding, helping with farrier, vets etc.

Bank contract support care worker required for a small unique rural care home for adults with Learning Disabilities. Ellershaw House is situated between Grewelthorpe and Kirkby Malzeard within 14 acres so own transport is required.

We currently look after 12 residents with varying needs, empowering their independence and promoting life skills so if you enjoy baking, gardening, horse therapy, walking, swimming, helping in the house or other hobbies these can be useful to bring to our organisation.

All experience levels can apply as support will be given.
